Product Guarantee

Guarantees

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Hearthlyre warrants that its furniture will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery.

Warranty periods vary depending on the product and component. All warranty periods begin on the date the product is delivered. Please refer to Section 3, Warranty Periods, for details.

If a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period, Hearthlyre will, at its discretion and subject to this policy, repair the product or replace the affected component.

This warranty covers products or components requiring repair or replacement due to defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover problems caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, improper handling or the inherent characteristics of natural materials.

Geographical Scope

This warranty applies only to products delivered to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales. It does not apply to products delivered to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

1. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, please email:

support@hearthlyre.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A detailed description of the problem or suspected defect
  • Clear photographs or videos showing the issue

We may request further information or arrange an inspection where reasonably necessary to assess your claim.

2. Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

To keep your warranty valid, you must use, clean, and maintain the product in accordance with the applicable care instructions.

Natural Materials

Natural materials such as wood, marble and other types of stone naturally vary in colour, tone, grain, veining, pattern and texture. Wood may also contain natural knots, while stone may contain mineral deposits, small pits, fissures or other naturally occurring characteristics.

These variations make each product unique and, provided that they do not affect the product’s structural integrity or normal use, are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.

Cracking, separation, instability or other issues that may affect the product’s structure, safety or intended use will be assessed individually. Such issues will not be excluded from warranty consideration solely because the product is made from a natural material.

This commercial warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products, abrasive materials, chemicals or other harsh cleaning agents
  • Defects or damage caused by neglect, misuse, improper use, fair wear and tear, natural disasters or accidental damage
  • Burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, water marks, indentations or damage caused by pets
  • Damage caused by placing or using furniture outdoors where it has not been expressly described as suitable for outdoor use
  • Dissatisfaction arising solely from personal comfort preferences, as comfort is subjective and does not, by itself, constitute a manufacturing defect
  • Problems arising after the product has been altered, modified or repaired by the customer or by a third party not authorised by Hearthlyre
  • Products expressly identified and sold as “as is” or “sold as seen” at the time of purchase
  • Cosmetic damage, signs of use, wear or other imperfections affecting an ex-display product where those matters were specifically disclosed to the customer before purchase. Ex-display status alone does not exclude coverage for an undisclosed defect in materials or workmanship
  • Products not purchased directly from Hearthlyre

These exclusions apply only to Hearthlyre’s commercial warranty. They do not exclude or restrict any legal rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

This warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Hearthlyre will assess the information provided to determine whether the issue is caused by a defect in materials or workmanship. Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, Hearthlyre will determine whether the appropriate remedy is a repair or replacement of the affected component.

A repair or replacement completed under this warranty will not restart or extend the original warranty period. Any repaired product or replacement component will remain covered only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period.

For a manufacturing defect reported and confirmed within the applicable warranty period, the warranty covers:

  • Materials and components
  • Replacement parts
  • Labour
  • Transport reasonably required to complete the approved repair or replacement

If an issue is reported after the applicable warranty period has expired, Hearthlyre may, where reasonably possible, offer a chargeable repair or replacement service. The customer may be required to pay for:

  • Materials
  • Replacement parts
  • Labour
  • Associated transport costs

Any charges will be explained before paid work is agreed.
